Walking with Isaiah, Day 65: “And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.” - Isaiah 65:9.

Who is the “seed” which God shall bring out of Jacob / Israel?

Who is the “inheritor” which God shall bring out of Judah / the Jews which shall inherit His mountains / Kingdom?

Who are God’s “elect” which shall inherit His possession?

Who is the “seed”?

Jesus, the Son of God, is the Seed which God brought out of Jacob / Israel.  “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” - Galatians 3:16.

“And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” - Genesis 17:7.

Who is the “inheritor”?

Jesus, the Son of God, is the Inheritor which God brought out of Judah / the Jews, which has inherited His mountains / Kingdom.

‘The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” - Genesis 49:10.

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:” - Isaiah 11:1.

“And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:” - Acts 13:22-23.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” - Matthew 28:18.

“All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” - John 16:15.

Who are God’s “elect” which shall inherit His possession?

The sons of God, the heirs of God, the Church, the Christians; every one of us a joint-heir with Christ.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;…” - Romans 8:14-17.

“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory:…” - I Samuel 2:8.

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:… 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” - Matthew 25:31, 33-34.

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” - Revelation 3:21.

“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” - Revelation 21:7.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” - I John 5:4-5.

“…for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” - II Corinthians 6:16-18.

Beloved Christian, you have an inheritance!  An inheritance so glorious it is exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think!  And our inheritance is not given to us some distant day far away.  No.  Our inheritance is given to us now.  Right now in this time, on this earth, in this physical body!

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God,…” - I John 3:2.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” - John 1:12.

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was….22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” - John 17:5, 22.

When do we get the very same Glory which Father gave Jesus before the world was?  Now.  He already gave it to us.  We have it now.

“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one [spirit].” - I Corinthians 6:17.

When are we made one with the Father, the Son and the Glory (the Holy Spirit)?  Now.  He has already joined Himself to us.  We are one, right now.

This is SOOOOO BIG!  Bigger than any of us can comprehend!  It is exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think.  But it is Truth, nonetheless.

Please, don’t scoff at this glorious Truth.  We should not allow our meager, limited little intellect prevent us from believing God’s glorious Word.  Remember what the Master said:  “Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” - Mark 10:15.

Little children are simple.  Little children are easily entreated.  Little children are quick to believe.  Little children take God at His Word.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6.
