Pastor Greg Griffin
Greg has served in various capacities of ministry for over 20 years. He was called into the Five-fold Ministry in 2012 (Ephesians 4:11, Romans 10:14-15). At that time, our Lord gave him the name and Mission Statement of this church which He called him to plant.
Greg and his wife, Kathryn, have a daughter, Chloe. He served our country with honor in the United States Marine Corps and he has an undergraduate degree in Music and Video Business. His passions are studying the Word of God, learning more about our Loving Heavenly Father, teaching the Church about the Truth of God’s promises and bringing the Light of the Gospel to the world. Greg also enjoys fishing, hunting, baseball, tennis, board games, a good science fiction novel and hanging out with his family.
Greg's theology is founded upon taking God at His Word. When he sees something that God has said, he believes it; even if he doesn’t fully understand it, because he knows that God’s Word is the Truth. And when he comes across something that he doesn’t understand, he knows that God is faithful to fulfill His Word. God said that if we lack wisdom, we should ask of Him and He’ll give it to us! (James 1:5.)
“It’s not ‘blind faith’. It’s coming to God, asking Him for His wisdom, believing that we receive His promise and then studying and rightly dividing the Word of Truth, relying on the Teacher, the Holy Spirit within us, to guide us into all of His Truth. It’s also setting ourselves under the sound teaching of other men and women of God and receiving their wisdom and knowledge from their years of experience of walking by faith with our Lord.
"Our Good Father is so BIG! Is it possible for us to know Him completely? Not in this age! And not for many ages after this one, if ever. But God, by His Word, has revealed what we can and should know of Him, right now. And His will is for us to be filled with His knowledge! And His will is for us to increase in His knowledge! He told us so. (Colossians 1:9-10, Ephesians 1:17-19)
"In truth, God's Word is easy to understand. We just have to believe what we read. We have to come to God as a little child and believe the words that He has spoken." - Pastor Greg
